Introduction to the University of Okara

The University of Okara was established under the Government of the Punjab Act, 2016 (XIII of 2016). Currently, there are more than 16,000 students and over 400 faculty/staff members. The university is situated on 204 acres of land sandwiched between Multan Road and Canal lower ban Doo Aab at Renala Khurd, District Okara. To expand its teaching and research operations, the university seeks highly qualified and exceptionally motivated professionals who can enrich and strengthen the academic life of the campus.

Job Overview and Eligibility

We are currently hiring for the role of Associate Professor of Sociology (BS-20). The appointment mode can be Regular, TTS, or Contract. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the Higher Education Commission (MC) and the University of Okara Employees (Appointment, Terms and Conditions of Service) Statutes, 2021. The age limit for this position is 30 to 50 years.
