Assistant Works Manager

Position Overview

Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) Board, Ministry of Defence Production, invites applications for five (5) positions of Assistant Works Manager (BPS-17) on a contract basis. These open merit vacancies are based in Taxila Cantt and are open to both civilian engineers/scientists and retired armed forces EME officers.

Eligibility Criteria (Civilians)

• Qualification Option 1: BE/ BS/ B.Sc (Engg) or equivalent in Mechatronics/Computer discipline with minimum CGPA 3.0 or above from HEC recognized institute registered with PEC.
• Qualification Option 2 (Metallurgical Only): M.Sc in Chemical/ Physics/ Chemistry technology or B.Sc in Chemical Engineering/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Metallurgy Engineering.
• Experience: Experience in the relevant field will be preferred for both options.
• Age Limit: 20 to 35 years. A general age relaxation of 5 years is admissible.

Eligibility Criteria (Armed Forces Officers)

• Rank/Experience: Retired EME officer (Major / Captain) with minimum 05 years service as commissioned officer and having basic course at School / College of E & ME.
• Experience: Experience in the relevant field will be preferred.
• Age Limit: Up to 50 years.

Government servants must route applications through their departments.

Important Notes

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for test/interview. Test/interviews will take place in Taxila Cantt. No TA/DA will be paid. Candidates dismissed from government service due to disciplinary actions are ineligible. False information will lead to disqualification.
