The Assistant Specialist Technical will support the technical team in managing technical aspects for electric distribution companies, ensuring compliance, assisting in quality assurance, maintaining standards, and contributing to technical assessments and improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising and managing technical aspects, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
- Support quality assurance oversight for power distribution equipment.
- Assist in designing and maintaining technical specifications and standards.
- Contribute to improving standards based on technological advancements.
- Assist in conducting rigorous technical assessments of suppliers.
- Support the development and implementation of quality assurance programs.
- Participate in audits and inspections.
- Support exploration and assessment of innovative technologies.
- Assist in analyzing innovative ideas for power distribution systems.
- Contribute to writing detailed working papers.
- Assist in conducting cost-benefit analyses.
- Help prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities (SKA)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (at least 16 years) from HEC recognized/affiliated institute/university having valid PEC license.
- Experience: Must have 03 years of relevant experience in a reputable national/multinational organization. Pakistan power sector experience and certifications in relevant field is preferred.
- Knowledge: Knowledge about international and national standards (IEC, ANSI, IEEE, ISO), Distribution Design Standards (DDS) and Product Description (PD) of electrical equipment. Knowledge of technical report writing and analysis. Knowledge of Electrical power systems and material. Knowledge about Power sector problems and their solutions. Knowledge about Industries working for power sector.
- Skills: Strong presentation and report writing skills.
Remuneration & Age
The selected candidate will be offered a market-based, competitive remuneration package, commensurate with their skills and experience. The maximum age limit is 35 years as of the closing date of this advertisement.Application Instructions
