Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi is inviting applications from eligible Pakistani Nationals for the post of Assistant Registrar (BPS-17) on a contract basis for its Sub-Campus Attock. The role involves administrative duties and support for the university's operations.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:
Option A:

• At least a Second Class Bachelor's degree from a recognized University.
• Five years of office experience, including at least three years of experience in scale 16, in a University, Government or Semi-Government Organization, or Educational Institution.

OR
Option B:

• At least a First Class M.Sc/M.A/MBA degree from a recognized University with no 3rd division in their academic career.

General Terms and Conditions

• The initial age limit for recruitment to BS-17 and above positions is a minimum of 21 years (this condition does not apply to candidates applying through proper channel).
• Individuals currently employed in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous organizations must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.
• Only those candidates who are short-listed will be called for an interview.
• No travel allowance or daily allowance (TA/DA) will be provided for attending the interview.
• The University will implement quotas for Women (15%), Minorities (5%), and Disabled Persons (3%) as applicable.
• The University reserves the right not to fill any advertised position or to withhold any appointment without providing a reason.

Application Process

1. Complete the Application Form online through the University's official website: www.uaar.edu.pk.
2. After online submission, print the filled application form.
3. Gather all educational documents, experience certificates, publications (if any), and other relevant certificates.
4. Attach a Bank Draft of Rs. 1000/- made in favor of the Treasurer, PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi.
5. Submit three complete sets of the application (including the form and attested copies of documents) to the office of the Registrar, Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi, by the closing date of 16.06.2025.
