Assistant Project Director (Civil/Electrical)

Position Overview

A fantastic opportunity awaits qualified engineers at the Project Management Unit, Youth Affairs & Sports Department, for the role of Assistant Project Director (Civil/Electrical). This position is based in the Lahore Division and demands individuals who are dynamic, self-motivated, and prepared for extensive fieldwork, often involving long working hours. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring the successful completion of various civil and electrical engineering projects, particularly those focused on sports infrastructure.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in either Civil or Electrical Engineering and must be a registered engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). A minimum of 05 years of construction experience is a prerequisite for this role. Preference will be given to applicants who have gained experience in the private sector, specifically those with a proven track record and background in the development of sports infrastructure.

Terms of Engagement

This position is offered on a purely temporary, contractual basis, with an initial duration of 09 months, extending up to June 30, 2026. The department holds the discretion to modify the number of posts, whether increasing or decreasing them, without prior notice or justification. Government and semi-government employees are required to apply through proper channels, and all applications will be processed in accordance with existing government rules regarding age relaxation.
