Position Overview

Baba Guru Nanak University, Nankana Sahib, is seeking applications from suitable Pakistani Nationals for Visiting Faculty positions as Assistant Professor / Lecturer (Visiting) for various departments/subjects for the academic year 2025-2026. The number of posts will be as per the requirement of the university. This specific opening is for the field of Islamic Studies.

Eligibility Criteria

The required qualifications and eligibility criteria for the post of Assistant Professor / Lecturer (Visiting) are as per the Baba Guru Nanak University Employees (Appointment Terms and Conditions of Service) Statutes 2022. Application Guidelines

1. Application forms can be downloaded from the University's official website: https://bgnu.edu.pk/careers/.
2. Candidates are required to submit one copy of the application form along with an updated C.V., attested copies of testimonials, a passport-size picture, and والغريب bank deposit slip for the processing fee.
3. A non-refundable job application processing fee of Rs. 1,000/- must be deposited in any branch of the Bank of the Punjab. The account details are as follows:

4. The deposited amount is non-refundable and non-transferable.
5. The application form, completed in all respects and duly signed by the applicant, must reach the Office of the Registrar, Baba Guru Nanak University, Nankana Sahib, by Monday, 23-06-2025, before closing hours.

Interview and Demonstration Schedule

All candidates are required to attend the interview/demonstration at the Office of the Registrar, BGNU, located at Faculty Hostels Building, Danish School, Nankana Sahib, along with their original documents as per the following schedule:

• Computer Science & IT, English, Sociology: Tuesday, 08-07-2025 at 10:00 AM
• Mathematics, Fine Arts, Graphics Design, Physics, Islamic Studies: Wednesday, 09-07-2025 at 10:00 AM
• Psychology, Chemistry, History, Political Science, Pakistan Studies: Thursday, 10-07-2025 at 10:00 AM
• Management Sciences, Punjabi, Education, Law, Zoology: Friday, 11-07-2025 at 10:00 AM

Important Notes

The university reserves the right not to consider any application or fill any post without assigning any reason. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview/demonstration.
