Lasbela University of Agriculture Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS) is a recognized Public Sector University, approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. The university is seeking applications from Pakistani Nationals for faculty positions.

Position Details

Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor purely on a contract basis for a period of one year for the Main Campus Uthal and its Campuses (University College of Dera Murad Jamali and Sub Campus Wadh). The contract can be extended based on satisfactory performance.

Qualification and Experience

3. The original deposit slip, duly signed/stamped by the Bank, must be attached with the application form.
4. Completed applications must reach the undersigned (Registrar, LUAWMS) on or before 15 April 2025.
5. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.
6. Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
7. Candidates already in service must apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC). Failure to provide NOC may result in the application not being entertained. Selected candidates will be responsible for getting relieved properly from their parent departments.
8. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application for each post, including all necessary documents and the bank draft/deposit slip.
9. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.
10. Canvassing in any manner will disqualify the candidate.
11. Hiding facts and providing misinformation may lead to termination at any stage.

Appointment Terms

Appointment of the selected candidates shall be made purely on a contract basis for a period of one year. There will be no right to be permanent whatsoever. The University reserves the right to withdraw advertised positions, withhold the appointment against any advertised position, and to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason at any stage. The decision of the University shall remain binding in all cases.
