Assistant Manager (MMC)

What We Are Looking For

Qualification: BA Graduation, Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Textile Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in material/accessories management within an apparel or textile manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Procure and manage the complete range of garment accessories, including sewing threads, buttons, zippers, Velcro, care/brand tags, polybags, elastic, tapes, labels and packaging materials.
• Manage procurement for both local and imported items, ensuring compliance with lead times, import duties and clearance timelines.
• Coordinate sample approvals (lab dips, button shade matching, strike-offs) with merchants, buyers and suppliers prior to bulk purchasing.
• Maintain strong communication and active negotiation with local and international suppliers to secure competitive pricing, terms and lead times.
• Work closely with Merchandising and Planning teams to calculate exact bill of materials (BOM) requirements and safety stock levels.
• Monitor warehouse inventory levels to avoid stockouts or excess leftover trims post-production.
• Ensure all incoming accessories meet brand testing requirements (e.g., Oeko-Tex, pull tests for snaps, needle detector clearance, colorfastness).
• Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to resolve supplier defects, issue debit notes or process replacements promptly.
