Job Overview

The Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, through the Office of the Circle Administrator Electricity, Mirpur, seeks applications from domiciled residents of District Bhimber for permanent positions of Assistant Lineman (BPS-07). These vacancies are available in various sub-divisions under Operation Division Bhimber-I and Operation Division Bhimber-II. A total of 115 positions are open. The appointments will be made according to the Departmental Rules of 2010.

• Sub Division Samahni (نائب مہتمم سماہنی): 24 Posts
• Sub Division Chirala (نائب مہتمم چڑالہ): 05 Posts
• Sub Division Sawai (نائب مہتمم سوائی): 05 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Matriculate or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Age Limit: 18 to 40 years as of the application closing date (24th May, 2025).
• Domicile: Candidate must be a domiciled resident of District Bhimber, Azad Kashmir. The domicile certificate must be issued before the application closing date.
• CNIC: Must possess a valid CNIC issued before the application closing date.

Application Process and Selection

1. Interested candidates must submit their applications to the respective Operation Division (Bhimber-I or Bhimber-II) by 24th May, 2025.
2. Applications must be accompanied by attested copies of educational certificates, domicile certificate, CNIC, and any experience certificates (if applicable).
3. Candidates already in government service must apply through the proper channel.
4. A written test will be conducted. Candidates need to secure at least 40% marks to pass the written test.
5. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Original CNIC, educational certificates, and domicile must be presented at the time of the interview.
6. The test/interview will be held on Thursday, 12th June, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Town Hall, Bhimber.
7. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.
8. Applications that are incomplete or do not meet the eligibility criteria will be rejected.
