Job Overview

The Geological Survey of Pakistan, M/O Energy (Petroleum Division) is seeking applications from eligible candidates for the following positions on a contract basis for an ongoing PSDP titled Accelerated Geological Mapping of Unmapped Outcrop Areas of Pakistan at 1:50,000 Scale (350 Toposheets) & Geological Investigations for Resource Mapping of Gemstones & Metallic Minerals in Potential Blocks of Gilgit-Baltistan 2024 likely to be completed by June 30, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Director (GIS/Image Processing) will be responsible for assisting in GIS and image processing activities. The candidate must have a strong background in GIS, remote sensing, and image processing techniques.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Assistant Director (GIS/Image Processing) position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• M.Sc/BS Geology/Remote Sensing/GIS/Space Science/Geography/Environmental Sciences or equivalent
• Preferably 03 years relevant experience
• Age: 30 years + 5 years' general age relaxation

Additional Information
