Position Overview

The Ministry of Defence, Government of Pakistan, is seeking applications from capable Retired Armed Forces Officers for the position of Assistant Director (BS-17). These positions are within the Pakistan Armed Services Board (PASB) Department and are offered on a contract/regular basis. There are two posts available, with potential stationing at the District Armed Services Board (DASB) in Bahawalnagar (Punjab), Sheikhupura (Punjab), or Chitral (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa). This role offers a chance for retired officers to continue their service in a significant capacity.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants interested in the Assistant Director (BS-17) position must fulfill the following requirements:
  • Qualification/Experience: Must be a Retired Lt Col/Maj or equivalent rank from the Pakistan Navy or Pakistan Air Force.
  • Maximum Age: Up to 50 years. The maximum age will be calculated from the closing date of applications.
  • Preference will be given to War Wounded Retired Armed Forces Officers.
