Aircraft Engineer (BPS-18)

Job Overview

The Services, General Administration & Coordination Department, Government of Sindh, seeks to appoint an Aircraft Engineer (BPS-18) for its VIP Flight division. This position is offered on a contractual basis for one year, with the possibility of extension. The role is based in Karachi and involves maintaining aircraft to the highest safety and operational standards.

Qualifications and Experience

To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Academic Qualification: A Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Aerospace or Avionics.
• License: A valid Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) in Category B1/B2 (With No Limitations) issued by PCAA.
• Technical Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of airframe, power plant, and electrical systems, as well as PCAA regulations and their implementation.
• Skills: Excellent aircraft inspection skills and the ability to troubleshoot defects effectively.
• Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in Aircraft Maintenance. Must have at least 6 months of current experience within the preceding 2 years.
• Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 50 years.
