Project Overview

The Project Management Unit (PMU) of the 'Gwadar Safe City Project (GSCP)', Government of Balochistan, is inviting applications from qualified local/domicile candidates of Balochistan for various contract positions for a two-year period. This project is focused on improving the security infrastructure of Gwadar.

Position Details: Account Officer (PPS-6)

The Account Officer will manage financial records, budgeting, and financial reporting for the Safe City Project, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: MBA/M.Com/BBA/CA (Finance/Accounts) or equivalent Degree in a relevant field from a recognized Institute/University.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience in the relevant field.
Merit: Open to all candidates from Balochistan. (Note: 10% extra/additional marks will be given to Gwadar District Candidates).

General Terms and Conditions

The positions will be initially for a period of one year, extendable to a total of two years based on satisfactory performance, purely on a contract basis with a fixed annual increment for the second year. Local/Domicile holders from all over Balochistan are eligible. Candidates can apply separately for multiple posts. A screening test will be convened for all PPS-02 and above posts. Only shortlisted candidates based on merit/test results will be called for an interview. Recruitment quotas set by the Government of Balochistan for females, persons with disabilities, and minorities will be observed. The maximum age limit is 43 years as per Government of Balochistan age relaxation policy. No TA/DA will be admissible. Candidates already in Government service must apply through the proper channel and attach an NOC.
